The company was created in 2015 from the reorganisation of PANRAIL GmbH, which has been operating since 1998 and has been managed by Honorary Consul Hans Georg Andras, who was already managing director of the predecessor enterprise. His network of international contacts enables him to operate successfully in Europe, South America and Asia. He is supported by Mrs. Carmen Gloria Ravera Weglinski in her function as Executive Director.

After 20 years of activity, the constant development and evolution of the basic business has driven PANRAIL to become one of the leading suppliers of railway technologies in Central Europe.
After the successful expansion of business contacts in Asia, PANRAIL Thailand Ltd, Bangkok was established in 2015 together with the B. Grimm Group (www.bgrimmgroup.com) under the auspices of its Managing Director Mr Upayokin Katrat (formerly Head of Siemens Mobility Thailand).
In South America, PANRAIL do Brazil, Sao Paulo, began operations in 2018 in partnership with the IMA do Brazil Group (www.ima.com.br) and the Managing Director of PANRAIL do Brazil, Joao Paulo Duarte (formerly Chief Procurement Officer of RUMO).
In Europe, a cooperation in the area of strategic consulting and M&A was established in 2019 with Molinari Rail AG (www.molinari-rail.com) in Winterthur, Switzerland.
The headquarter of PANRAIL Railway Equipment KG is based in Vienna (Austria), with its partner offices in Bangkok, Sao Paulo and Winterthur.
